NEWS: An Update from Chef Lisa II

To our guests, fans, friends, and family,

Last December, I wrote to you all with the news that our lease was not being renewed at the end of February 2021. Today, I am writing with a few updates on the future now that February has arrived.

Since December, we have not found a suitable location to move our storefront and restaurant space, and so our West Main St. location will be closing down after Valentine’s Day weekend. Our catering kitchen, however, is still open, and we are looking into a number of creative options in Ligonier for continuing to serve family meals to our loyal customers. Stay tuned for news about a temporary outpost located in-town for pickups, delivery options, and other COVID-19 friendly modes of service. We are excited to see what else God has in store for our business, and we certainly aren’t leaving “for good” because our storefront opportunity didn't work out.

Here’s how the next few months will unfold:

First - this weekend (February 4-6) and next weekend (February 11-13), we’ll be holding a sale in our storefront location. We’ll have cheese serving boards, Gigis’ aprons, serving plates, and more, all priced and ready to move! Many of our platters, boards, cheeses, and spices will be available at half-price! If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day gift, or simply want to kick your own cooking up a notch, give us a ring and come by to see everything we have in stock.

Second- after Valentine’s Day, the team will be taking some time off to move out of the café and prep our off-site catering kitchen for your catering orders and family meals. We can still take orders for catering events and your café favorites, like our gourmet gift bags, dips, and spreads, and there are even some pop-up opportunities in the works that we'll announce once the plans come together.

Third - Our Facebook, email, website, and phone number won't be changing. If you have questions, if you are interested in a pop-up restaurant opportunity in your neighborhood, or if you have a catering order for the months ahead, don't hesitate to call or email us!
